JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships: Short-Term Program
The program provides Ph.D. students or Ph.D. researchers in the Europe and North America with opportunities to conduct collaborative research under the guidance of their hosts at universities and other Japanese institutions for a relatively short period of time. A person who has never engaged in research at universities etc. in Japan would be most preferable.
JSPS Invitational Fellowships
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) carries out programs that provide international researchers who have an excellent record of research achievements with an opportunity to conduct collaborative research, discussions, and opinion exchanges with researchers in Japan. These programs are intended to help advance the international researchers' research activities while promoting science and internationalization in Japan.
Kajima Foundation Short-Term Research Program
The Kajima Foundation welcomes international researchers to stay at major universities in Japan and conduct collaborative research with Japanese researchers.
China Scholarship Council Short-Term Program
The China Scholarship Council (CSC) provides both funding for Chinese citizens and residents to study abroad, and for foreign students and scholars to study in China. The agency predominantly provides scholarships to individuals, including in batches allocated to specific foreign universities.
